Shanghai Remy Valve MFG. Co., Ltd. as a member of the Shanghai Machine Department was established by the China KVC Group in 2002 with the technical support from the Institute of Chemical Metallurgy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of sciences and Schneider Maschinenbau GmbH, Germany. The Company integrates research, development, production, distribution and technical services as an effective process. Currently the Company employs 217 people 8% of which are senior engineer.

Located in Qingpu Industrial Park and Jading industrial Park, Shanghai, Remy's main compound covers an area of 40,000 square meters and has the modern infrastructure for production and development. The annual turnover in 2004 exceeded six millions of US dollars.
